British Airways cancels planes to West Africa

British Airways has temporarily halted all flights to West Africa amid concerns over the ebola outbreak which has claimed nearly 900 lives.

Flights to Sierra Leone and Liberia have been suspended from today until the August 31 as more cases of infections continue to be reported.

Yesterday SA Airways announced it had no plans of suspending flights in and out of the West Africa region adding that there's no need for panic as the situation remains under control in mzansi.
