Manchester City are a step closer to clinging a second  Premier League in three years - after a they gave Aston Villa a 4-0 thumbing - to go to the top of the table with a game remaining.

The victory means the blues just need one more point from their last game to win the league title.

City are two points ahead of liverpool - but a superior goalm difference of 13 over their tital rivals means a draw would be enough for the club to be crowned champions.
