Two University of Pretoria students are facing displinary action, after a picture of them dressed as African domestic workers went viral.

The students were at a private party, covered in brown paint, wearing head scarves and had stuffed pillows under their skirts to enlarge their buttocks

The university has confirmed via statement,  that the students behaviour is unacceptable and  have brought the university's name into disrepute.

According to Beeld, Du Preez's lawyers made the application on Tuesday.

This came after Du Preez and Christoff Becker's parole was revoked when a video emerged of the pair allegedly drinking alcohol and using a cellphone at the Kgosi Mampuru prison.

One of the so-called Waterkloof Four, Frikkie du Preez, has lodged an urgent application to be released on parole again, Beeld newspaper reported on Wednesday.

Du Preez's lawyers made the application in the High Court in Pretoria on Tuesday.

Pretoria - Home Affairs Minister Malusi Gigaba could get time in jail after he was found to be in contempt of court in a case involving a stateless man.

The court found Gigaba was in contempt of an August court order directing him to decide within 30 days whether Frederik Ngubane, who is not recognised as a citizen of any country, could live in South Africa as a permanent resident.

Gigaba has reportedly been given a five-day grace period to reach his decision, the Sowetan stated.

President Jacob Zuma has appointed National Freedom Party leader Zanele kaMagwaza-Msibi as Deputy Science and Technology Minister, the presidency announced on Thursday.

KaMagwaza-Msibi, 52, would take her oath of office at a swearing in ceremony at the Union Buildings in Pretoria on Friday.

The post was formerly held by Mike Masutha, who is now serving as justice minister in Zuma's new Cabinet.

Two men have been arrested, after being found in possession of R20million worth of steroids in Silver Lakes Pretoria.

Hawks spokesperson, Paul Ramoloko says they were alerted by security  guards at the complex and then made the arrest.

The suspects are expected to appear at the Pretoria Magistrate court on Monday

Murder accused blade runner Oscar Pistorius is set to begin his mental evaluation at Weskoppies Psychiatric Hospital in Pretoria this morning.

Judge Thokozile Masipa ruled Pistorius to undergo 30 days observation as an out patient after forensic pyschiatrist Merryl Vorster told the court the athlete suffers from General Anxiety Disorder.

Pistorius would undergo daily observation by 4 medical personnel appointed by the state and defence, before he returns to court on June 30.

Police have launched a search for four suspects who robbed 30 United States university students on a bus in Tshwane.

The four armed motorcyclists ambushed the tour bus on Eeufees road before fleeing with an undisclosed amount of US dollars and several cellphones.

The woman allegedly erected shacks at the Roodeplaat Nature Reserve in Pretoria and is renting them out to her employees.

The department is currently conducting investigations and she could face a displinary hearing.
